Welcome Sarah!

The newest member of our family has arrived...

Sarah, a 2 year old ragdoll cat.

Sarah is very sweet, but still very shy. She doesn't run and hide anymore when we go see her in her "room". She allows us to pet and pick her up. Now if only Token would be nice when she visits Sarah. We've only had Token to the door of Sarah's room and she hisses and growls. Sarah doesn't seem to mind that there is another cat in the house...she is so use to them from her first home.

Sarah is a seal point mitted ragdoll. The mitted means she has white paws (just like Token). Her back legs are all white so it looks like she has on boots! All ragdolls have blue eyes, and Sarah's are absolutely gorgeous! Sarah also has claws, something we are not use to. I will need to clip her claws every 3 weeks so they aren't so long and sharp. Ragdolls do not have an undercoat which means Sarah will not get matted. That is a big plus!

Sarah LOVES to eat her canned food. I wonder if Token will try to eat her canned food when she accepts Sarah as part of the family? We are enjoying Sarah, but can't wait until she feels comfortable enough to join us in the rest of the house.
