This was the 3rd year for the SBC camping trip to Little Pine State Park. We arrived Friday afternoon and stayed through Monday lunch. As always, we had a fun time with all our friends, even though it rained nearly all day long on Saturday! We made the best of it, muddy kids and all!
One of the highlights was when we got to see the 2 bald eagles. They were perched in 2 different trees near their enormous nest.
The kids did their best to stay dry under the canopies, but they can stay still for so long. Conner, I believe, is sticking his tongue out at me.
Once the rain stopped, the kids got to enjoy some "beach" time.
Karch got to try his hands at kayaking in the lake.

And this was the major event of the weekend. Conner evidently got bitten by a water snake while playing in the creek. The water was cold enough that he didn't even know it had happened until his leg started to hurt later in the day. OUCH!
