Here's an EASY hands-on activity to do over the Easter holiday:
Ingredients:
large marshmallows
crescent roll dough, separated into triangles
melted butter
cinnamon sugar
Directions:
1. Roll marshmallows in melted butter, coating all sides.
2. Roll marshmallows in cinnamon sugar, coating all sides.
3. Place marshmallows at skinny part of dough and roll marshmallow up, making sure to completely cover and seal the marshmallow with the dough.
4. Bake on waxed paper according to the crescent roll package directions.
The marshmallow will melt while baking leaving an "emply tomb".
This one wasn't completely sealed and it opened up while it was baking. But it gives you a good idea of what one should look like on the inside.
