For Life Science class a few weeks ago Karch's class had to make a plant or animal cell. They could use a baggie filled with hair gel and other items to represent the parts of a cell or they could make an edible treat. Karch chose to do the latter.
It was quite an interesting project, especially with only 3 hours to do it before bedtime, plus coming up with things in the pantry that could be used to represent all the parts of a cell. It at least helped me to reorganize the pantry and throw away all the outdated foods I've been accumulating for who knows how long!
