When we went camping over the 4th of July weekend with some friends we all went on a 1 hour horseback riding adventure. This was Conner's first time on a horse, and boy, did he ever ride a HORSE!
His horse was a gentle GIANT, a former Amish working horse from Lancaster County, PA. Her name was Marlyn. Conner was a bit surprised that he was given such a big horse to ride, but he rode her well. The guide had told us NOT to light a fire behind her...well, about 10 minutes into the ride we found out why. I never heard any animal pass gas like Marlyn did!!! And everytime she did it, Conner would laugh and exclaim, "I LOVE THIS HORSE!" Our friend, Laura, who was behind Conner was not too thrilled.
