Treasure Adventure

Tonight was our school's Spring Musical. Our school is very blessed to have a talented 5th grade teacher. Mrs. Gross writes and directs all the plays and casts her 5th grade students in the plays. This year's spring play was called Treasure Adventure. A group of kids were shipwrecked on an tropical rainforest island. They find a treasure map but are disappointed when all they find are painted rocks. The natives who inhabit the island are sharing the Gospel by using the colored rocks.

It was a very funny play but had a great message. The kids did a fantastic job acting their parts. The K4 through 4th grade classes sang in the choir. If I get around to it, I will try to upload a clip of the play. It is worth sharing with you. But in the meantime, here are just a few photos...

Some brotherly post-show humor. "We can give a sigh of relief!"
